Group Effort 4: Heart Over Mind marks the latest milestone for the Colorado-based snowboard collective that’s been steadily building film projects for years. The new two-year project premiered in both Boulder and Frisco, drawing together riders, friends, and community members to celebrate a crew that continues to push forward.

Supported by Satellite Boardshop, Ride Snowboards, High Country Healing, Academy Snowboards, GNU, Airblaster, and more, the film highlights a strong roster of riders:

Kyle Nienhouse, Kaiden Paulson, Wesley Muresan, Niko Phelan, Aaron Hoffman, Brendan Sullivan, J Deforge, Mitch Holtz, Matt Sutton, Ben Longley, Hayden Tyler, and Windham Miller. Also with appearances from Sawyer Reivich, Josh Tranby, and Ben Monson.

The film is led by director, filmer, and editor Mac Webb, whose presence behind the camera gives the project a unified feel. Additional filming from Holden Bradley, Kyle Nienhouse, Matt Norris, and Elliot Lane, along with photography from Collin Adams, Elliott Lane, and Webb himself, rounds out a production team rooted firmly in the Colorado scene.

Like past Group Effort projects, Heart Over Mind blends technical riding with personality moments. There’s no shortage of standout clips from Kaiden Paulson launching a cliff into a flat parking lot, Aaron Hoffman’s taking a spill in a cold reservoir dip, Tommy Lynch throwing down at Love Games, and Mitch Holtz and Turbo owning street spots per usual. The film captures a full spectrum of what keeps local riders motivated.

What stands out most is the consistency: the level of effort, the mix of talent, and the dedication to documenting Colorado riders in their own element. A straightforward, well-made project from a crew that’s committed to game.

Group Effort 4: Heart Over Mind is now streaming on YouTube for those that want to tap in.
