Fucc City is Jake Aaronson’s newest solo project, and honestly it feels like his most personal work yet. Jake did it all himself (again) — setting up the camera finding those perfect stationary angles, riding heavy street spots, and editing every second of footage. No crew, no filmers, no shortcuts. Just Jake, a triple threat.

This one hits different though. Fucc City is a tribute to Jake’s dad, Marc Aaronson, who passed away last year. In every clip, Jake’s wearing his father's clothes, carrying his memory through each spot and clip. It’s such a simple thing, but it adds so much emotion to the project. You can feel it — the weight, the love, and the purpose behind every trick. Even writing this it was hard to contain my own emotions.

Watching Fucc City, you can feel the soul in it. Every shot has intention. You’re watching someone work through grief in real time, turning loss into motivation. You can tell Jake was chasing more than just tricks. He was chasing a feeling, trying to create something that honored his father and showed what’s possible when you put everything you’ve got into a project — and he did just that.

Jake battled through broken cameras, blown head gaskets, and the usual chaos that comes with filming solo. But he kept pushing. That’s what makes this project so special. The fact that it even exists is proof of Jake’s determination to make something real, something honest, something that means more than a short street film.

It’s the kind of video you watch over and over, not because of the spots or the tricks (even though they’re heavy), but because of the soul behind it all. Fucc City is a reminder of why we do this — for the love, for the memories, and for the people who got us here.
What an incredible project, Jake. Nothing but respect.
