This summer, Snow Pirates Co. hosted a skate jam at the Silverthorne Skate Park, bringing together skaters from all over the state for a full day of skating, good weather, and good vibes. It was one of those classic Colorado days — blue skies, warm sun, and a park packed with riders from the moment things kicked off.
The session had something for everyone. Skaters of all ages pulled up to ride, hang out, and throw down in a laid-back contest that felt more like a community jam than a competition. The setup was simple — skate, have fun, and maybe take home some cash prizes and giveaways if you put something down.
The locals showed up in full force. Joe Lynch, Jonah Childs, Tater Pfister, Zach Lansford, and Chris Olita all put on a show, keeping the crowd fired up with style and consistency. The younger crew — Otis Ivanic and Rhys Miller — held their own too, proving that the next generation of Silverthorne skaters are here. Snow Pirates' team manager Will Gosh was announcing, and he always brings the entertaining commentary.
What stood out most wasn’t the tricks — it was the atmosphere. Everyone was supporting each other, pushing limits, and keeping the day light and fun. That’s exactly what Snow Pirates is about — building community through riding, whether it’s on snow or concrete.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to skate, watch, or just hang. See you at the next one.
