We’re beyond stoked to welcome Shane Lynch and Molly “Scout” Martin to the Snow Pirates Co. team — two riders who perfectly embody what this shit is all about: creativity, chaos, style, and heart.
Shane Lynch, originally from Chicago and now holding it down in Frisco, Colorado, rides with a kind of fearless energy that’s hard to describe. He’s one of those riders who seems to be making it up as he goes — throwing flips and tricks that probably shouldn’t be possible, but somehow making them look effortless. His snowboarding is unorthodox, unpredictable, and just plain fun to watch. But beyond the wild riding, Shane’s one of the most genuine people you’ll ever meet. He’s constantly hyping others up, helping new riders find their footing, and keeping the local scene buzzing. A true character on and off the board — and a legend in the Summit County community.
Then there’s Molly “Scout” Martin, coming in hot from Salt Lake City. We first crossed paths with her at the Snow Pirates pop-up jam at Woodward Copper — and let’s just say she made an impression. Scout sent a wild tame dog that nearly took off our owner Zach’s head… and she stuck it. That was all we needed to see. Her style is confident, technical, and full of personality. She is the park princess, but there’s nothing soft about her riding — she goes hard and keeps it fun.
Both Shane and Scout bring something real to the crew. They ride for the love of it, for the community, and for the moments that remind us why we started Snow Pirates in the first place.
Welcome to the family, legends.
